YOUTUBE! Rough Cut to watch over weekend!

So it's at 18:00 minutes... but that's with pauses and mess-ups (my bet is that the final will be 13-14 min). Practice your lines, watch this a couple of times to make sure you know where you need to be, and try to see how you can help cut the time down. Come prepared for a fantastic video on Monday! (Don't forget your costumes!)

10 Min Hamlet Audio

Listen to the audio file we made in class. If you double click on the MUSIC NOTE you will download the .mp3.

Listen to the audio until you can say your lines without missing a beat - I would say 10 times would be a good start (Remember: Friday is our practice video, and Monday is our FINAL VIDEO!).

If you practice:
- you won't have (as much) stage fright
- your friends will think you're really cool
- we'll go viral on YouTube
- you'll make me look like the coolest teacher ever

If you don't practice:
- the world will end!
- everyone will laugh at you!
- you will regret it for the rest of your life!
(are those dire enough warnings? :)  )

Hamlet Rap

This is a pretty good Hamlet rap (I promise it exists) - one girl learned the entire plot by listening to it over and over.

Read Andrew's blog post about it soon at Hamlet Music

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING:

1) Start reading Act 3! (very exciting developments to be had...)
2) Writing in blog (should be at ~5 entries around now)
3) Comment on other people's blog entries
4) Dig back into Act 1 and 2 for help with blog entries and character development
5) Have fun and do work

Happy Weekend!

On the same (web)page - Weekend Work

Fantastic Seniors! Here is a short checklist to keep you organized:

  1. Log on to your blog and post at least once (when you post, read it out loud to find minor errors)
    1. beginner bloggers: title, well-written post, citations of sources if referenced
    2. advanced bloggers: eye-catching titles, hyperlinks to sources, pictures with citations
  2. Check your Act/Scene out and start editing. By next Friday, our goal is a complete Act 1 & 2 so we can start walking through the film
  3. Write a comment on at least one other person's blog post - ask a question, write a comment, make a suggestion
Have a great weekend - happy blogging!
